Many of us might already know that blockchain development is not only technically challenging but also quite expensive. This when coupled with the fact that most organizations still do not understand how to parse blockchain data into something useful for employees and customers, it becomes difficult for this blossoming technology to be integrated into existing ERP / IT systems that are being widely used today.

In its core essence, Unibright is an all-new platform that aims to leverage the power of blockchain technology for driving the day to day activities of large-scale business operations. It does so via the use of a unified framework for blockchain-based business integration and establishes a template-based workflow that employs automated smart contracts.

The service is entirely template based and is thus able to target a wide array of business sectors. In its current phase of deployment, Unibright is already offering the cryptoverse with a host of specialized templates which can be used for purposes such as:

  • Multi-Party Approval
  • Asset Lifecycle Management
  • Batch Tracing

To make use of the system, all one has to do is choose a template for the desired use case and customize the integration workflow so that a connection can be established between the existing landscape and the template.

Overview of the platform

  • Unibright establishes a unified framework for blockchain-based business integration in a simple yet effective manner.
  • Through the use of a template based service model, this platform seeks to enable cross-blockchain and cross-system connections.
  • Unibright aims to offer customers with standardized, abstract views and control mechanisms so as to create a set of automatically generated smart contracts for each specific business workflow.
  • The platform is highly user-friendly and can be used by persons with varying degrees of technological prowess.

Key features

For starters, the Unibright Visual Workflow Designer(WD) provides customers with no prior experience in coding, programming with the ability to develop powerful Blockchain-based solutions. Additionally, this module allows also users to define business integration workflows visually, thereby allowing for a greater level of work efficiency.

Layered Representation of the Unibright Ecosystem

Similarly, The Unibright Contract Lifecycle Manager (LCM) allows for the transformation of visually designed workflows into platform-dependent code with the simple click of a button. Not only that, the Lifecycle Manager is also able to generate smart contracts for the most appropriate blockchain in a completely automated fashion.

Unibright also comes pre-built with a native Explorer(EX) which monitors all ongoing business processes across all smart contracts and related systems. It also processes all of the on and off chain data and then proceeds to display the pertinent information in an easy to understand manner via the use of Smart Queries.

Hierarchical setup of the interfaces used by this platform

Lastly, Unibright’s Connector protocol allows for the establishment of a network that merges an existing IT landscape with different blockchains and smart contracts– primarily through the use of automatically generated Smart Adapters.

How It Works

The central governance module that drives a bulk of the activities taking place within the native ecosystem is the Unibright Contract Interface (UCI). For example, the UCI not only defines the main structure and state variables for all internal smart contracts but it also maps out their method of implementation.

Visual Representation of how the system works

Additionally, the UCI module provides customers with the ability to integrate smart contracts into different blockchains and system landscapes. As mentioned previously, operators have the freedom to visually define workflows and choose from a set of existing templates to streamline complex tasks.

The native Workflow Designer (WD) is fully compatible with all of the platforms’ existing templates and presents users with basic workflows that are completely customizable. In its present iteration, the Unibright ecosystem provides customers with the capacity to store their work locally or within a cloud server as a JSON representation. It is also worth noting that the WD is not linked to any blockchain or backend system— thereby ensuring a high degree of overall security.

Lastly, the Contract Lifecycle Manager (CLM) can load saved JSON workflow representations and is able to construct a graphical representation of the data in question. The native explorer opens the created query sets (XML) to display the information and transaction flows while the connectors use the provided XML based adapter configurations to establish desired connections to all participating systems.

The price of UBT has remained fairly stable since its inception. Introduced into the cryptoverse at a base rate of $0.191 per token, the price of the currency presently stands at $0.119 (on May 28).

As of May 29, UBT has a total market cap of $15,183,558 USD. A total of 150,000,000 UBT have been minted but only 131,116,542 tokens are currently in circulation.

Final Thoughts

With Unibright promising to deliver the crypto market with a unified framework for blockchain based business integration, it would not be surprising to see this product gather more traction within the blockchain community within the coming few months.

If you would like to start investing in Unibright, UBT trading pairs are currently available on IDEX.
