Open source blockchain ReserveBlock has announced the listing of its native coin on two leading exchanges. RBX, which is used to secure the decentralized network through Proof of Assurance (PoA) consensus, will be listed on Bitrue and Deepcoin on February 2.
The event will be accompanied by a range of rewards, AMAs, competitions, and giveaways, giving users an opportunity to get involved in the ReserveBlock ecosystem. Bitrue will subsequently be launching its own RBX staking program on February 3, giving users the opportunity to earn randomized block rewards through carbon-neutral mining with their laptop.
Like Bitcoin, ReserveBlock is built in C# and features a highly decentralized consensus mechanism. Unlike Bitcoin, whose energy footprint has attracted criticism, ReserveBlock permits lightweight mining through its PoA consensus. This supports a nimble and highly efficient environment in which to create and deploy decentralized applications.
Features such as on-chain royalty enforcement, multi-asset NFTs, wrapping and pairing of assets, P2P media transfer, domain name service, and on-chain self-governance provide developers with all the tools they need to create scalable and versatile applications.
