Last week, Gary Vaynerchuk announced the second round of speakers at this year’s VeeCon 2023 in Indianapolis, which runs from May 18 to 20.
With more than 140+ star-studded talents, spread across TV personalities, Hollywood celebrities, entrepreneurs, and CEOs throughout business, innovation, tech, marketing, and pop culture – this year’s multi-day super conference is bound to bring some energized conversations.
Vaynerchuk, the creator and founder of the popular NFT project, VeeFriends, launched “Burn Island,” a new platform in the VeeFriends ecosystem back in February, which aims to provide VeeFriends holders with a unique way to engage with the community by offering them a chance to burn their NFTs in exchange for access to events and physical/virtual rewards.
With Web3 front-and-center at this year’s VeeCon, attendees will be looking forward to meaningful conversations surrounding A.I., the metaverse, and of course, the power of curating communities.
Of the 50 newly announced speakers, Nicole Behnam, is one to definitely pay attention to – and if you haven’t hopped into one of her heavily populated, daily Twitter Spaces, make sure to check one of them out.
Behnam, who you may remember from the early days of Clubhouse, is everything that’s right about culture. She is the founder and producer of Beyond Media, a platform that actively celebrates discussion, problem-solving, art, comedy, and community.
While she is very well known in the Web3 space, most associate Behnam as the “go-to” person when it comes to pointing them in the right direction or to that potential business opportunity.
In a recent interview with Hypebae, Behnam spoke to Beyond Media’s most popular vertical, Beyond the Interview, a curated social media feed that facilitates discussion about a variety of topics trending across Twitter and Instagram that she has been tastefully building since as early 2018:
“In a world that encourages superficial consumption and media that constantly identifies problems, instead of looking for problem-solvers and helpers – I find people with answers and critical thinking ability. These are people who have struggled, but who have also achieved and triumphed,” Behnam said.
In January, Behnam launched her podcast, Beyond With Nicole, powered by MoonPay, which is the latest component to the Beyond Media ecosystem.
With a total of 14 episodes currently out, the podcast pushes the boundaries of traditional conversation, discourse, observation, analysis, and discovery across current events, politics, media, and culture.
“Beyond prioritizes problem solving over click-bait news, while maintaining cultural relevance and bringing forth people with solutions to modern problems – rather than simply those who are quick to point fingers and showcase what’s wrong with the world we live in. That produces fear and negativity. I want to manufacture hope that life can be better than it is, that everything people deal with can be overcome. That life can be better despite what we all struggle with,” she told Hypebae.
Each episode features a high-profile talent, including, but not limited to former FBI hostage negotiator Chris Voss, Impact Theory founder Tom Bilyeu, Iranian actress/playwright Tara Grammy, professional dancer Cheryl Burke (Dancing With The Stars), comedian Leah Lamarr, DJ Georgia Sinclair, Amy Chan (Breakup Bootcamp), Luca Netz (Pudgy Penguins), and Scott Lips (Lipps Service).
As for MoonPay’s involvement and support, Behnam praised the Web3 infrastructure company for its desire to make crypto more accessible and helping newcomers into the space learn more about the space.
“I was drawn to MoonPay’s willingness to make it easier for people to join this space,” she said.
Behnam told CryptoMode that she’s currently in the process of expanding out her podcast, actively looking to bring more guests onto the platform that bring immense value to the meaningful and impactful conversations she wants to encourage more people to have.
