With just a few more hours until the end of its phase 2 presale, FIREPIN is already winning the hearts of investors. FIREPIN (FRPN) is a Metaverse coin like Decentraland (MANA), ApeCoin (APE), and so on.
With the hype in Web 3.0-based Metaverse and play-to-earn games, investors are actively on the lookout for exciting projects and their promising tokens. While we await $FRPN’s off-shoot in the crypto market, here is what we may know about Decentraland (MANA) and Cronos (CRO) at the moment.
Decentraland (MANA): Metaverse At Its Best
Decentraland (MANA) is a very popular Metaverse cryptocurrency; the project behind the token is an exciting one too. The Decentraland Metaverse game was launched in 2017—with its prototype space—Genesis City, comprising over 90,601 plots of land.
At its inception, a plot of land on Decentraland sold for about $20—at the time, $MANA was barely $0.02. The Metaverse platform had risen above the ranks to break land sale records amounting to over $2.43 million per plot in 2021.
From Q4 2021 until January 2022, an average weekly land sale on Decentraland was about $19 million. However, this figure fell to about $7 million in March.
With the hype in prices of NFTs and Metaverse lands, investors are reconsidering buying expensive lands and collectables and aiming for better options with huge returns on their investments.
The recent crypto crash may have contributed to $MANA’s drop, and the project may have to do more to get positive market movement before Q4 2022.
Cronos (CRO): Fairly New to the NFT and Metaverse Space
Cronos is a blockchain powering the Singaporean-based crypto exchange, Crypto.com, and its utility coin, $CRO. The project was formerly just called Crypto.com. However, to expand its ecosystem and support newer projects, the organisation rebranded to Cronos, just as Meta had done to Facebook.
Cronos (CRO) has actively partnered with many brands, especially in sports and entertainment. It bought the naming rights to Los Angeles-based Staples Center for $700 million and has partnered with elite clubs like Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). In March 2022, it announced a partnership as an official sponsor of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
We can see that the organisation is actively investing in getting more visibility and attention for its utility token and upcoming projects.
Cronos token, $CRO, will power its ecosystem and most especially be used in purchasing its NFTs on its exclusive NFT marketplace—CroSea. Like Decentraland and The Sandbox, Cronos plans to enter fully into the Metaverse.
Nevertheless, Cronos (CRO) is pretty much a new game player doing nothing new in the Metaverse and NFT space. The only thing that makes a difference here is its hunger for visibility which we can see through its enduring partnerships.
FIREPIN (FRPN): The Future Metaverse Crypto
If you are still new in the Metaverse and NFT space, FIREPIN ($FRPN) is the one for you. Do you know you can contribute to the NFT and Metaverse space by just holding Metaverse crypto? FIREPIN (FRPN) is that cryptocurrency capable of doing such through what it calls a Metaverse DAO.
Launched in February 2022 and undergoing a second presale round, FIREPIN has already achieved considerable milestones. It will launch its multichain protocol before the end of Q2 2022 and carry out an initial exchange offering (IEO) by Q3 2022.
FIREPIN is also looking forward to disrupting the Metaverse space with its propositions that include:
- FIREPIN will establish a reserve currency on BNB. It will use an expansive algorithm called the Algorithmic Reserve Currency (ARC) algorithm to maintain price stability while including other protocols like staking and DeFi collateralisation to support it.
- Enthusiasts and investors can contribute to the project through a community-led Metaverse DAO, allowing them to vote and contribute to its governance.
- Enthusiasts can also build with the developers using the $FRPN token, which will earn them huge returns in the long run.
