After experiencing a decent market run which saw the price of BTC scale up to an impressive $6,800, the alt-currency has slipped to around $6,670 (at presstime).

Additionally, it is also worth noting that since yesterday, the total market cap of Bitcoin has reduced quite significantly, dropping by nearly $15 billion after yesterday’s high.

How are the other big name players doing?

Over the course of the past 24 hours, Ethereum has seen some significant losses, with the currency down nearly 3.46 percent since yesterday. At the time of writing this article, the price of ETH stands at around $460.

Additionally, out of the top 10 crypto assets in the market today, EOS experienced the biggest loss over a 24 hour period– with the currency dropping by nearly 12%.

It is also worth pointing out that since the EOS constitution controversy broke out a week back, the price of EOS has dipped nearly 13%.

Lastly, one of the few currencies to have experienced a value gain since yesterday is Tezos, who saw its value shoot up by a solid 9%.

Final Thoughts

While all of the major crypto players saw a small dip in their overall value, the market as a whole seems to be doing well at the moment. Additionally, with institutional funding now entering this domain, it remains to be seen how big players like BTC, ETH, BCH continue to fare in the weeks ahead.
