It is evident that not everyone sees the merit in Bitcoin and other crypto assets. For the WallStreetBets subreddit, some of the moderators still consider cryptocurrency to be “fake currency”, further showing the blatant ignorance of some people.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion on Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
Is Bitcoin a Fake Currency?
Some will always dismiss a new form of sending and receiving money online.
This has happened time and time again, and will continue to occur for the foreseeable future.
On the WallStreetBets subreddit, however, there appears to be some genuine bias toward cryptocurrencies.
More specifically, one of its core moderators is convinced that crypto assets are “fake currency”.
All of this stems forth from an influx of crypto-related discussions taking place on this board.
Even though the subreddit isn’t designed for that topic of discussion, calling it “fake currency” is still a bit of a stretch.
It is a comment that does not sit well with the majority of crypto enthusiasts, for obvious reasons.
Even so, it goes to show that more and more people are aware of crypto assets these days.
It is only normal that they will actively seek for information regarding this topic.
Doing so through the correct platforms is pertinent, as not everyone on the internet is helpful by nature.
