The cryptocurrency market continues to leave investors scratching their heads, especially since the price of Bitcoin has once again plunged below the $6,000 mark (on Tuesday).
While the currency has not yet touched it’s 2018 low of $5,785 which was observed in June earlier this year, the asset currently sits at around $6,035 (at presstime).
It is also important to note that Bitcoin isn’t the only currency experiencing this turbulent market pressure at this point, as most of the other big-name crypto assets are also witnessing a significant downturn in their financial fortunes.
To be more specific, the total market capitalization of all the cryptocurrencies combined currently stands below the $200 billion mark, a figure that is the lowest yet of 2018.
