The cryptocurrency market continues to leave investors scratching their heads, especially since the price of Bitcoin has once again plunged below the $6,000 mark (on Tuesday).

While the currency has not yet touched it’s 2018 low of $5,785 which was observed in June earlier this year, the asset currently sits at around $6,035 (at presstime).

It is also important to note that Bitcoin isn’t the only currency experiencing this turbulent market pressure at this point, as most of the other big-name crypto assets are also witnessing a significant downturn in their financial fortunes.

To be more specific, the total market capitalization of all the cryptocurrencies combined currently stands below the $200 billion mark, a figure that is the lowest yet of 2018.

Lastly, at press time, the trading prices of some of the other premier crypto-assets stand at:

  • ETH– $271.50

  • XRP– $0.26

  • BCH– $500.19

  • EOS– $4.38

  • XLM– $0.21
